MoveRoom
I'm the founder and sole developer of MoveRoom, now in beta: a branded site, schedule, booking, payment, waiver, and live room for independent fitness teachers, all in one path. Teachers can generate logos and class images with AI, and each class is screened by rules first, then a model, with anything flagged held back for review.
Context
MoveRoom is for independent US fitness and wellness businesses that teach paid live classes online. An instructor gets a branded public home and a connected path from publishing a class to opening its live room.
The problem
A teacher should not have to stitch together a website, schedule, booking flow, payment step, waiver tool, and video service. The system also has to keep consequential states honest: booked, paid, waived, and allowed into the room are different things.
Work involved
I am building the product across the business and student paths: product decisions, requirements, application workflows, live-class access, and the connective tissue between them.
Approach
- Connected a branded site and schedule with one-time and recurring live-class publishing.
- Kept selection, booking, payment, and required waiver acceptance in one student path.
- Tied live-room access to a student's booking entitlement instead of handing out an open video link.
- Built AI features with a fence around them: OpenAI image generation validates every returned file; class and waiver screening runs deterministic rules first, then a model returning structured JSON.
- Failures leave content unpublished, and flagged content waits for human review.
- Made administration visible around bookings, proceeds, refunds, disputes, payouts, team members, access requests, and notifications.
What this work shows
This is visible in the product's actual shape: site, schedule, booking, payment, waiver, live room, image generation, content screening, and business administration treated as one system.

Outcome
A beta product that keeps the path from public class listing to booked, entitled live participation in one place, with AI features bounded by validation, rules, and human review.
